Wow. Now I’m really feeling…well, not old, but let’s just say I remember hearing this on the radio driving back to college from a trip home going over the mountains in East Tennessee, and after living through the last 20 years of the Cold War, I had this really exciting sense of history in the making. I heard Pres. Reagan’s speech, and then before he left office, sure enough, the wall came down. Google has posted a slideshow of photos from LIFE magazine from when they tore down the Berlin Wall, 20 years ago. Every photo tells a story, and what powerful stories they are!
