I haven’t posted this here before, but I just wanted to share one of my favorite projects, a chance to work with Alabama music legend Percy Sledge. He was helping to promote Huntsville’s Whistlestop Festival for the Year of Alabama Music. We rented a space and designed a background and lighting setup to mimic a small music venue and produce these spots for the festival, featuring talented guitarist and Alabama State Representative Phil Williams, and Mr. Sledge himself:

We worked with Bluewater Enterprises of Destin, FL to create a simple, modern looking product launch video to showcase the sleek elegance of TopKase, a stylish protective case for Apple’s iPhone with a unique, roll-top screen shield:

We worked with ad firm Concept, Inc. in Pelham, AL to produce a 30-second spot for Ballantrae, a Pelham city-owned Golf Course. We shot this in a single day using DSLR cameras and featuring members of the course at home and at play:

Green Media was the video production choice for Birmingham City Schools to produce promotions for its Career Academies program.

Production on my first short film, “Lipidleggin’,” based on a story by F. Paul Wilson, begins in one week. We are set to begin shooting on Monday, April 2, 2012 in Walker County, Alabama. I made a website for the film today and will be working on it as progress happens. Take a look:
