Super Baozi vs Sushi Man! (Funny 3D Short)
I promised some folks I would follow up “Last Minutes with ODEN” with something a lot lighter, and here it is:

Baozi is a kind of steamed stuffed pastry common in Chinese cooking, and the Sushi Man has got red fish eggs on top…just a really funny idea.
If you go to his Vimeo page, Sun Haipeng has a longer music video featuring Super Baozi, if you liked this short film. I think it’s a hilarious parody/tribute to the Bruce Lee film it takes its sound effects from.
It’s a pretty simple story, but it definitely has it’s beginning, middle and (funny) end, with some rising tension and a cool twist at the end. Under two minutes, this is pretty much classic short film material. Put “Under 2 minutes with a twist” in your checklist for “How to make a viral video,” right below great characters and a unique concept.
